Raindance Makeup Tutorial + Raincloud Earrings + Blueberry Kitkats!

This is a blue post: blue rain drops, blue eye makeup, blueberry kitkats~ I must confess that I am not sure if this qualifies as a "wearable" look tho... it looks more like a 'snow' look rather than a 'rain' look...rats. Oh well.  I'm still rather fond of the colors I used here, I have such a weakness for blues and greens ^_^

Products Used:
Missha Color Stick Eyes in WH01
Maybelline Quad in Charcoal Smokes
Daiso Shine Eyes palette in Blue
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Flipside
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner in Black
Maybelline The Falsies in Black
R&R Blush in Foreplay
Tutti Dolci Lipgloss in Lemon Meringue (smells SO good)

On Face:
Skinfood Mushroom BBcream in Shade 1
Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in Shade 2

On Nails:
Zoya Ibiza
Nubar 2010

I'm not sure where you can buy the Daiso Shine Eyes palette I'm using here.  I suspect that the palette I'm using is the same as this, just arranged differently and with a different name.  The color swatches look exactly the same.  Anyway, I really do recommend this palette - so pigmented!  The down side is that my whole palette shattered (in case you couldn't tell ^^) and it's constantly shedding powder everywhere -_- And I'll just say now that I am obsessed with the Maybelline Quads - I bought two more >_< - but they were on sale at Walmart for $4-5 :D! so now I have five total and dare I say I like them more than the UD Naked palette *cough* Don't ask me why ^^;; I just do.

My beloved grey knit cap is turning a faded green from many washings :\ As for why I'm wearing a scarf so weird...I'll let you in on a little secret - I was wearing PJs (it was the weekend!) so I covered up my top with a scarf ^_^  Here tis a closeup:

I have a little errant tail of blue eyeliner on the center of the lid xD! But I'm more annoyed with my eyelid...I don't understand how I line my lashes right along my lashline yet when I open my eyes, I look like I put too much eyeliner on towards the outer half. Argh!?   Much like Rimmel Airy Fairy turning a hideous shade of purple on me, this remains a mystery to me :\

Anyway, I just adore these Raincloud earrings, the more I wear them, the more I fall in love ^_^  I always get compliments on them and they're so comfortable!   I knew I didn't regret getting them the second they came out of the box, the molten look of the clouds just totally makes it for me.  And of course...candy.

The one of the left was a delicious sweet green tea flavored caramel (I think).  As for the one on the right, Steph warned me it that the coating was really bitter (like real matcha). It was ^_^ at first I was like wtf O_O, but then once the bitter coating melted away, it made sweetness of the chewy center was that much better.  Overall, definitely a good candy. I appreciate how real matcha powder was used and the overall effect of the candy is authentic and not cloyingly sweet.  Very memorable!  It's a real pity that I haven't seen either of these at Asian markets around me :(

I was so thrilled to try the blueberry Kitkat! I've chatted about the greatness that is Japanese KitKats before, so trying another flavor was *heaven*.  The coating was milk chocolate with a mild blueberry filling between the wafers.  I kinda wish the blueberry flavor was stronger (I adore blueberries), but I still enjoyed this kitkat quite a bit. I ate it all too fast :(  Since blueberry is such a mild, delicate flavor, I think it would've been better to coat this in white chocolate with blueberry bits (and a bit of blueberry flavoring ^_^).  I think it'd be so pretty!  A white chocolate bar with flecks of blue :D like blueberry and cream~

Anyway, that's all for now!

A Simple (Lunar) New Year Makeup Tutorial

So yeah...I recorded this in December with every intention of posting it on 12/31/2010. Oh well. ahaha I did say procrastination was one of my New Year Resolutions ^_^  Also it surprises me a bit that people are more interested in seeing wearable, every day looks (see poll to right..and vote ^_~), but I guess it's just because I personally enjoy watching more costume-y tutorials xD  Anyway, here is my stab at a wearable look (ironically, for a holiday when most people wear dramatic, party looks hehe).  I had a mild cold in this video so sorry if I sound a little "sleepy" :}

Products Used:
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Maybelline Charcoal Smokes Quad
Maybelline Designer Chocolates
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner in Black
* UD Uzi (optional)
* UD Maui Wowie (optional)
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in Black
UD 24/7 Glide Pencil in Lucky
Lioele Silky Highlighter BB Touch
NYX Mosaic Blush in Dare
Etude House Dear Darling Lipstick in Coral Shine 07
The All Natural Face lipgloss in Aztec Gold

* =  from UD Book of Shadows 3

I dunno why the pic on the left turned out so green and the right so yellow :P   Colors are most accurate in face shots.  Anyway, I was aiming to create a wearable, but still celebratory look that blended berry reds, silvers, and golds~ The colors were inspired by how Chinese believe red and gold is lucky and how white and silver are supposed to "rabbit year" colors.

In any case, I really like the Maybelline Expert Wear Quads, they're so...useful.  Plus they're easy to get your paws on in drugstores/online and cheap to boot :D!  I snagged two of mine at a BOGO 50% sale at Walgreens, thanks to Sisi Sparkles who posts drugstore sales every week. I own three Maybelline Quads: Charcoal Smokes, Natural Smokes, and Designer Chocolates. I used two of them in this tut :}  I have fantasies of owning ALL the quads, but since I just picked up the UD Naked Palette *sigh* I will have to refrain from getting any more "neutral" palettes.

The red crease color from Maybelline's Designer Chocolates also really strikes me as a dupe for the burnished red/berry color in the NARS Cheyenne duo.

Temptalia's swatch makes it seem like NARS Cheyenne's is a wee bit on the brown side and more pigmented.  I can't say for sure though since I've never seen the duo in real life.  But Maybelline's red crease color in just about the only red-ish eye shadow I can work with - it's a soft, shimmery berry red color, it's the whole reason I purchased that palette.  I'll be doing a collective review of Maybelline Quads so I'll do swatches then :}

To amp up the look, of course, I whipped out my trusty UD Book of Shadows III!

Uzi and Maui Wowie are glittery shades and have a bit of fallout. Not bad though :) I consider these colors "optional" colors for this look though, the red crease color is really the showpiece ^_^

And yes, I cut my hair. I regret it so much. I asked the hair dresser to trim off 2-3 inches and she chopped off SIX inches within seconds of saying, "Nah, 3 isn't enough, you have too much hair." *snipsnip* Me: O_O?!  It was so much hair it looked like a small possum had died behind my chair.

Ugh, the trials of getting your hair cut by one of your mom's friends - I swear that Korean ahjummas are fully content to make decisions FOR you whether they're your mom or not if you're below the age of 30.  I should've just gone to my trusty (and more expensive) hair stylist.  All I'd wanted was to trim off my split ends, retouch my bangs, grow my hair for 2-3 more months, snip off the whole shebang to donate, and get a bob cut -___-  Now I have to grow my hair out again for another year to donate (minimum hair length is 10 in) and I am deeply unsatisfied with my hair. For one thing she didn't thin my hair so my head still feels "heavy" and my hair is even frizzier O_O   And while it still feels heavy and unmanagable, I am much more limited with the hair styles I can do.  I miss having my tumble of hair to play with. Now I shed just as much, my hair is frizzier, and I am stuck doing braids and little pony tails.  Whine, whine, bitch n moan *sigh*   I'm such a baby. I know hair grows back, but I miss my little cape of hair :(

Ok, enough of that xP  Time to go eat some macarons and drool over Iron Chef reruns!

2NE1 "It Hurts" (아파) CL Inspired Looks

2NE1's "It Hurts" MV came out a couple weeks ago and I was so intrigued by the funny lower lashes I had to do it :D  CL is my favorite 2NE1 member actually~ she's so coool!!!  She's one of the few celebs I would love to be friends with...but for now I'll content myself to being her stalker fan ^_~  I actually did two looks in this tutorial, which is why it took me so long to edit ><

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine

My skin was still healing from the hives I got a few weeks ago so putting on makeup was little unpleasant :P  Also I was really tired so I think my voice was really monotone ;_;

And I didn't take any pics of the first look because....I forgot >< (kind of like how I always forget to put on mascara) but I did snap a few shots of the second look.  I feel like shouldn't have smoked out the eyes so much and that the jewels aren't exactly in the right place... :P but oh wellz, live and learn ^_^ For those curious my earrings are from The Limited and were a gift from a friend.  The faux fur jacket is my mom's ;) although I did just purchase a gorgeous faux fur lined cardigan from Ann Taylor LOFT's 40% off Black Friday Sale! I'll show you guys when it comes in because I think I'm going to love it.

My camera was in one of it's unpredictable mood swings and for once it was good - I love the lighting and saturation in the first one!   I don't know how or why it turned out that way (I'm such a camera noob), usually it overexposes on auto-focus (like the 2nd pic) but that one time the camera and lighting just came together exactly how I wanted ^_^  And yep, that's actually all my hair xD  Even curly it's about 3 inches from hitting my butt....it looks like a large rat died in the shower every time I wash my hair :\  I keep telling myself I'm going to cut it but I just never get around to it.

Here are some screencaps of CL wearing the looks I did:

The second screencap is about the closest you get to the red lipstick look the whole MV.  CL's overall look here just made the whole MV for me - she just looks so beast!   The boots, the fur, the Amy Winhouse-esque bun.... Here's the actual "It Hurts" MV with both looks below to see the coolness in action~

However, like I said, I don't feel like I was spot-on as I could've been with these looks :\  Now that I'm studying the eyes again, smoking out the eyes so much made it turn out less "edgy" and more 50s? Nonetheless, here's a close up of my eyes:

I so dig the funky lower lashes ^_^ I'm really into the whole "decorating the waterline" thing because it's kinda pointless for me to put a lot of color on my upper lid.  I have hidden double folds (when I open my eyes wide I'm pretty much mono-lidded) so no matter how much e/s I put on, it usually ends up tucked underneath :P eheh that's another reason I'm constantly eyeballing CL's makeup is because she rocks a lot of monolid looks.

Yuppp, I think that's all I have for this post~  I can't believe it's already December, my god!  It's just friggin' crazy, time is flying for this year (I feel like I say this every year).  But you know what they say...When you're 10, life moves at 10mph. When you're 30, life moves at 30mph. When you're 50...and so on (until you "crash" that is ehehe). So, yep~ that's all for now :}

A Slice of Cantaloupe Makeup Tutorial + The All Natural Face Brand Review

I know I said I'd be dutiful about reviews but noooo....I could not resist this makeup tutorial! Cuz it reminds me of cantaloupes :D!

Products Used:
Revlon Colorstay in Buff 150 (Mara, I love this foundation :D)
Boi-ing Concealor in Shade 2: Medium (this too is your fault ;) )
Lioele Silky Highlighter BB Touch
The All Natural Face eyeshadow in Mauve Shimmer*
NYX Single Eyeshadow in Seafoam Green
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Mildew
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner in Black
R&R Contrived Blush in Foreplay
NYX Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie
And yes I forgot to put on mascara. Again. Which is why it's not among the Products Used.

* Note: Even though this is called "mauve" shimmer, it's more of a pink-peach/orange with a silver and delicate lilac (mauve) glint - very subtle.

This is a good shot of the R&R blush in Foreplay.  For awhile Tease was my favorite but I think Foreplay is just so wearable. It gives me this really nice coral peachy glow.   Also the earrings I have on are one of my favorites. I got them from Zipia.net (making an account is free), my all time favorite Asian clothing online shop.  I so dig how the backing is basically a 2nd pair of earrings.  In other words, two of the chains are attached to the backing so you can pair them with studs to make new dangle-y earrings or use a different backing with the fronts so that it's less dramatic.

I forgot to put on mascara as usual.

I've been thinking of doing a whole series of looks based on various fruits.  Hmmm....either I'm insane or genius!!!! wheeeee~

Review of The All Natural Face brand
ehhe, I keep wanting to say "The Face Shop"

Etsy Shop: etsy.com/shop/theallnaturalface
Where to order eyeshadow samples (.35 each): theallnaturalface.com

My only significant complaint is that I do not like the layout of the non-Etsy website AT ALL.  Some pictures and links are broken, there is no picture variety, only some of the colors are described in text, the layout is amateur and honestly...it's just all very unprofessional. It's a pity since they clearly are offering good products.  If you are not ordering eyeshadow samples, you definitely would be better off ordering from the Etsy store.  I also thought about saying that using a bag for loose shadows is a bit inconvenient but for .35 cents I myself can't think of a better way to send loose shadows and still keep prices down. Can't have everything for such a low price ^_^  The checkout process went smoothly though though on one step, I think it was about entering a 'Consultant ID' - I couldn't find the button to move on without a Consultant ID because the button was so small.

I'm not doing swatches here because I'm going to do a separate post on them but I have Mauve Shimmer and Boysenberry Shimmer already (see below) and like I said in the video...so pretty~ Beautifully pigmented, silky smooth and the most subtle, delicate shimmer ever.  The reasonable price and "all-natural-ness" are just cherries on top.

Aren't these just gorgeous?! Pic from TANF Etsy shop.

I've only tried the eyeshadows but I also ordered a lip gloss so we'll see how that goes.  Crystal, the owner and maker of the TANF, also has excellent reviews (100% from 10,000+ reviews) on her Etsy store so that's quite promising.  Of course, after falling in love with the two colors I have, I ordered (a lot more)...28 things to be exact ><....

But seriously, I got 27 colors (+ lipgloss) for $16.20 including S&H!  That's .45 each for all these luscious colors~  Actually I could have gotten them for even cheaper but I was stupid and didn't see the 20% off Holiday sale (GAHHHHH).  So I could've gotten this whole loot for $12.96!

For everyday, I only wear a bit of black eyeliner, white pencil in the corners, and copper liner on my under eye if I'm feeling feisty.  This means that I really don't have an excuse to buy many bright colors (not that it stops me) since I usually want them only for certain non-work appropriate looks.  I'm not sure how much of a bargain this is if I calculate by ounce but I do know that I rarely use a color more than once and that I love unusual colors.

To tell the truth, NYX single eyeshadows are actually way~ too big for me.  I still get them because I like the color range but I'd rather have about half the amount of product they give ^_^  Ideally, I like buying small amounts of many bright colors and prefer working with loose shadows.  I don't mind the bags/transporting loose powders because I'm just fiddling around with them at home.  Since I'm not a makeup artist, it's just so nice to be able to be able to play with so many colors and not feel like I am "wasting" huge palettes of colors.   In the big picture, if you do choose to get the full sizes... the full sized shadows from TANF are $3.00 (5 grams) and the NYX single shadows are $3.99 (2.7 grams) - you literally get 2x the product for less!   Fyi, the full sized TANF shadows come in plastic jars with sifters.

Also I am very tempted by the face washes right now; they remind of Skinfood because the all natural food ingredients :D  Plus they sound so yummy, "Strawberries & Cream, Peaches & Cream" etc. If I am blown away by the order I just placed, I may try these next.  TANF is known for mineral foundations but I'm pretty happy with my foundations, which is the only reason I don't plan on trying any, unfortunately.

American McGee Alice Inspired Look

The background is actually from Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland movie not the games ^_^

Hello everyone, even though it's way past Halloween, I hope you don't mind if I share my Halloween look with you ^_^ I was Alice from the game by American McGee.  The sequel to Alice, which is called Alice 2: Madness Returns is coming out in 2011 and I am so excited :D!!  Alice's look has changed a bit between the games; so I chose to base my look off of pre-released screencaps of Alice 2. In Alice 2 she has gotten older, has a side part in her hair and even a bit of lipgloss ^_^ Otherwise, she still has her trademark blood-spattered blue dress+apron, vivid green eyes, gaunt face and infamous Vorpal Blade.

Oddly enough, it looks like she has red lipstick in some of her screen caps :\ but I decided to go with a nude, sickly lip color xD Overall, it was a pretty basic look and I had lots of fun getting into character~ Ehehe, I feel like I'm cosplaying more than anything else but it's all good yeah ;)?

Products Used:
Revlon Colorstay in Buff 150
NYX Single Eyeshadow in Blue Marine
UD Perversion (from UD BoSIII)
UD 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Yeyo
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner
Maybelline The Falsies mascara
Revlon Fantasy Brows Pencil & Gel in Brown
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer Duo in Raisin Glow 50
TonyMoly BBcream Party Pact in Shade 2
Lioele Silky Highlighter BB Touch
R&R Contrived Pressed Blush in Foreplay
NYX Round Lipstick in Thalia
NYX Round Lipstick in Rea
C.O. Bigalow Menthe Lip Gloss

Circle Lens: Super Nudy Green (at 14.5mm these are unbelievably huge O_O I would never wear these except for cosplaying/costumes....I look like a deranged cat, which is perfect for the Alice look ;) And the color is super bright, like a lizard, so they show up like none other. Proper review coming up soon.)

Costume: from FoundCostume for $42.99 + $5.99 S&H = $48.98 in Medium. It is now listed as $39.92, prolly cuz Halloween is over (lesson: shop for costumes earlier :P).  Anyway, I will review my ordering experience with this website in a separate post because I have quite a bit to say about it.

Note on Lashes: I would actually highly recommend thick, dramatic lashes for this look :) Just be sure to apply the lower lashes below the white highlighting on the waterline.  Since Alice's eye makeup is basically an overdone smoky eye, it would add a lot.  You might have noticed I don't bother with false lashes very often and it's because I don't like wearing them and don't have many false lashes on hand (the only two I have are very natural looking) :\ but false lashes do add a lot to a look, especially on Halloween, so do wear them if you have a nice pair.

I planned on making this much more extreme (aka much heavier eyeshadow, more contouring) but I HATE the Neutrogena Blush & Bronzer Duo in Raisin Glow 50 I've been using to contour - it was becoming so streaky and orange that I simply could not build up the layers.  DO NOT BUY IT!   Ironically, I use it a lot but it is flat out because I haven't had time to pick up anything else. It's very streaky and hard to work with.  Also the blush is right next to the bronzer, so all the glitter from the blush (which is very pigmented) ends up mixing with the bronzer.  Plus it oxidizes orange.  I'm going to do a post about this product later (I'm so back logged on reviews because of these Halloween looks) but yeah, don't buy this item.  On the upside, I found a use for the NYX Round Lipsticks Thalia and Rea!  If you recall, I reviewed my NYX Haul and said that these two colors were terribly unflattering on me...well, they're perfect for sick/zombie/unhealthy/undead looks xD Thalia has a purple undertint (so I look bruised) and Rea makes my lips look gray and chapped.  It's really much more obvious in real life and it added a lot to the look :)

For once I was disgruntled how good the lighting was that day >_> It's hardly creepy...well, at least you can see the make up ^_^  Also, you can't see it here but my contouring is so streaky and orange, I was furious...in my review of the Neutrogena Blush & Bronzer Duo I will include a picture from this set that shows how  streaky and orange it really was. But for now~

I also ventured outside to snap a shot in the classic Alice pose... I'm very pleased I look properly 'mad' here :D I wish I had some fake blood but I got too lazy to make my own :( Next year I must order some Mehron Coagulated Blood to add to the effect...

In retrospect I really wish I had worn some kind of underskirt to poof out the dress more *sigh* Ah well, maybe next time.  The above pose is based off the box cover of the first Alice game:

I really wasn't getting shots I liked so I decided to break out the Po-shopping skillz....! These are all screencaps from the Alice games, you might remember the first one from the sneak peak a few days ago ^_^

I think my favorite is still the one at the very top of this post, the one in front of the gate :D

Also for people who like a little behind-the-scenes, here are the original pics I took and some of the screencaps I used to create the pics above.  Since I wanted to paste myself into a new background, I needed to be against a solid background. And I'm standing on a white posterboard so I don't get my carpet dirty :P So scary huh ><?   And yes, I am posing with a real knife mwahaha :D

*whew* Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this look!  I'm going to be focusing on reviews again for the next several weeks and take a break from makeup-ing~

Wild Flower Fairy Makeup Tutorial

First off, I want to say thank to everyone who commented/watched my Rea-l Mayer video ^_^!  It was my first makeup tutorial and I wasn't sure how it'd turn out but you guys made every second worth it.

This was the "nature inspired" Halloween look I alluded to a few posts ago before Ergo Proxy bounced into my life.   It's actually one of the more tame looks I had in mind, before I wanted to do something totally psycho...like an insect or something just to see if I could do it xD   I prolly still will if I can cram it in before Halloween....aka in 8 days omg.

I forgot to mention in the video that I'm using a wet brush to intensify the color.  I like to just wet a paper towel and wipe my brush between colors and this both cleans and re-wets the brush for the next color.  Also to intensify the colors even more, use some kind of colored eyeshadow base before you apply the UD eyeshadows - my recommended eye shadow base would be the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the appropriate colors (very affordable + tons of colors). I didn't do it in the vid though because I find the UD shadows to be pretty vibrant as is.

This look is essentially an UD Book of Shadows III look. I'm trying to use this palette as much as possible, mostly because it's my first legit palette ^^;; and I want maximize my purchase per se ;) So far I'm really liking the colors, they're super pigmented with minimal fallout (except Midnight Cowboy, which I now never use and is pretty much universally regarded as a bad eyeshadow even by UD-lovers).

Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil & Gel in Brown
Lioele Silky Highlighter BB Touch
Rock & Republic Pressed Blush in Tease
NYX Round Lipstick in Circe
C.O. Bigelow Menthe Lip Gloss
G&G GBT Violet Circle Lens (LOVE THESE. Review coming soon.)

Not shown in video:
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation (sorry ^^ I said in the video it had no SPF :P)
L'oreal True Match Concealer in Cool (light/medium)
Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover (is what I use on the Q-tip)

Ideas to enhance the look: I really recommend getting latex elf ears if you can (something really big and crazy would be cool ^^).  If you can get cuffed earrings too I think that would just take this look to a whole new level.  Also if you want a "wilder" looking fairy you could put a streak of dark lipstick on the center of you lower lip and use a black gel liner to trace more designs.  I didn't use setting powder because I wanted to look dewy but it made it a bit it hard to draw on my face with pencil because there was so much slip.  For the vid it was fine because I only wanted faint design but for a darker line, I'd say use a gel or a grease stick if you have one.  Also if you have your hands on a nice pair of lashes, use them.  I think one that wings out and is thicker on the outer ends would be particularly nice since they would enhance the exotic look.  Fyi, the lashes shouldn't be too dramatic or you'll overwhelm the eye shadow colors. This look can be adapted to be makeup for different colored flowers or an elf/pixie look... ^_^!

I had a little trouble editing this - I had an insane 45 minutes of footage.  I decided to try filming more "freestyle" - usually I film in little bits with each step on separate clips.  This time I just left the camera running and filmed it straight through.  Bad idea.   Anyway, the light was gorgeous today so I spent a lot of time hugging my mom's potted plants xD She has a thing for alien looking plants in case you haven't noticed :}

Here's a closeup of the eye makeup.  The top pic is too yellow and if you're wondering why my eye makeup looks a little different for each eye it's because my eyes are wonky; one has a double fold and the other is a hidden fold :P

For peeps curious about the flower crown, it's almost embarrassingly simple x.x I cover the tape in the back by flipping my hair over it after clipping the crown into my hair.

Anyway, if all goes well I'll be cranking out a few more of these :D  I hope you guys like!

Rea-l Mayer from Ergo Proxy Inspired Look

I've been planning a number of Halloween looks but time is going by so fast :( But FINALLY I got one up!  It's a lot harder doing a makeup tutorial than I thought ^^;;  Anyway, I had SO much fun doing this!  I was planning on doing a nature inspired Halloween costume/look but when I started watching Ergo Proxy, I just had to do this first.

I really wish I had a gun. Or at least got the hand position right :P
It's a fairly simple inspired look because I don't want to do anything complex until I get a good grasp on how to record makeup tutorials but simple or not it's of a kick ass character - Re-l/Real/Rea-l Mayer of the anime Ergo Proxy.  Ergo Proxy is a fantastic anime btw, if you liked Serial Experiments Lain or the classic Neon Genesis Evangelion this is straight up your alley :)  It's very philosophical and dark - some may say pretentious but I like it a lot. The animation is gorgeous in Episode 1 but even though it kind of goes downhill afterwards, the moody ambiance is still there :)

Makeup used:
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Foundation (Nude 40)

G&G GBT Grey Circle Lens

*whew* I haven't used this many things at once on my face in a long time.  My hair was being so annoying :P I couldn't get it pin-straight like Rea-l's...gahhh I love having long hair but there is just way too much of it x__X  I'm also kind of sick of curly hair, it's so much harder to manage.   Another thing that really frustrated me was how the quality of the vid is so low O_o so grainy...I guess that's what I get for using iSight :(  But at least my eyes look good :D the G&G GBT Greys are so purtyyyy~!!

I really hope you guys like this ^_^ I had a lot of fun putting it together.  This is the first time I've done a cosplay too so this makeup tutorial already has a special place in my heart~ I didn't take many pics of this look tho...I was so tuckered out by the time I'd finished recording -_-;; It took much longer than I thought, it's really one thing to put on makeup and quite another to do it while trying to record yourself >.< Not to mention the little buns kept coming loose....

The makeup looked a lot better on video I think - on camera and in real life it's pretty over the top (and I look like I've been punched in the face) ^^ But that's the point of a cosplay/costume right xD?
